Control is a series of activities to ensure the conformity of the implementation of activities with a
predetermined plan by comparing current achievements with predetermined targets. If there is a
discrepancy, corrective action must be taken. The supervision and control carried out cover the following:
1) administrative aspects, 2) resources, 3) achievement of program performance, and 4) technical
services. Job satisfaction is an evaluation that describes a person's feelings of pleasure or displeasure,
satisfied or dissatisfied at work. Job satisfaction reflects how a person's attitude towards his job. This
study aims to determine the relationship between the implementation of the control function of the head
of the puskesmas with the job satisfaction of nurses at the Tarogong and Cilawu health centers. The
research method used in this study is a quantitative method using a correlation analysis design with a
Cross Sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study used the Total Sampling technique with
a total sample of 60 respondents. The data were collected using a questionnaire in the form of questions
about the implementation of the control function of the head of the puskesmas and the job satisfaction
of nurses then the data were analyzed using the Chi-square test. p-value = 0.018 where p<0.05. And it
can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the implementation of the control
function of the head of the puskesmas and the job satisfaction of nurses at the Tarogong and Cilawu
health centers.
