The prevalence and incidence of hypertension is increasing. Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure above
140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure above 90 mmHg. This disease is often called the silent killer, which is a disease
that can cause death due to the threat of complications. Confidence in treatment and lifestyle changes or also called
cell efficacy is very much needed by hypertensive patients. With the existence of good self-efficacy in every patient who
has the disease, the patient will have better physical function if he has confidence. The design of this research is
descriptive quantitative by describing one variable. The sample used in thisstudy amounted to 86 people who were taken
based on incidental sampling for 2 weeks. Collecting data using a questionnaire. The results showed that 35 patients
(40.7%) had low efficacy, 36 patients (41.9%) had moderate efficacy, and 15 patients (17.4%) had high efficacy. Most
of the respondents at the Cikajang Health Center had a moderate level of efficacy. Researchers suggest to the puskesmas
to be able to provide interventions to increase self-efficacy because there are still around 40.7% who have low selfefficacy.
