Abstract

Stunting is a growth and development disorder in children due to chronic inadequate nutritional intake, recurrent
infectious diseases and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. Children with developmental delays, especially at an early
age, may experience delays in the development of other organs, including the brain. Supplementary food or complementary
food is food or drink that contains nutrients, given to infants or children aged 6 -24 months to meet nutritional needs other
than breast milk. Supplementary feeding in infants includes supplementing nutrients that are lacking because the need for
nutrients will increase in line with the increasing age of infants and children, developing the baby's abilities. The purpose
of this study was to determine the description of supplementary feeding in stunted toddlers aged 24 -60 months in
Sukamenak Village, Wanaraja Garut District in 2023. This research design is descriptive quantitative, the sample
obtained was 70 respondents. The sampling technique used in this stud y was random sampling. The results of the
description of supplementary feeding in stunting toddlers aged 24 -60 months in Sukamenak Village, Wanaraja Garut
District can be concluded that supplementary feeding in stunting toddlers aged 24 -60 months in Sukamenak Village,
Wanaraja Garut District in 2023, out of 70 toddlers as many as 54 respondents (77.1%) have been given accordingly.
