Abstrak

Toilet training (TT) is defined as the ability to initiate and complete urination and defecation independently. It is an important marker in the normal development of children as it is a challenging process not only for children but also for their parents. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the success of toilet training in preschool-age children in the Karanganyar Village area. This research method is quantitative. The type of research used in this study is chorealational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population used in this study were preschool-age children in Karanganyar Village at Karangsiswa Kindergarten, Mahardika Kindergarten and Terate PAUD totaling 56 students. Total sampling is a sampling technique where the number of samples is the same as the population. The results of this study indicate that based on the chi square test knowledge and work p value <0.05, while education p value>0.05. Conclusion: There is an influence of mother's knowledge and occupation on the success of toilet training and there is no influence of education on the success of toilet training.
