DEVELOPMENT OF STANDARD OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE (SOP) DISCHARGE PLANNING IN THE INPATIENT HOSPITALS OF RSUD dr. SLAMET GARUT

Discharge planning implementation in nursing is very necessary for the benefit of patients and nurses, but in reality discharge planning by nurses is still in the form of a patient resume home, even though discharge planning is a very important thing to do that aims to prepare the patient's and family's independence physically, psychologically, socially, improve ongoing nursing in patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of operational standards (SOP) discharge planning in the inpatient room of RSUD dr. Slamet Garut in 2019. The research method used is descriptive, aiming to describe the development of operational standard (SOP) discharge planning based on nurse characteristics. The population in this study was inpatient nurses at the RSUD dr. Slamet Garut. The sample used was 100 nurses. The results showed that the majority of respondents (79.0%) based on age could develop discharge planning operational standards (SOP). Based on gender, more than half of the respondents (52.0%) were able to develop a discharge planning operational standard (SOP). Based on marital status, most of the respondents (79.0%) could develop a discharge planning operational standard (SOP). Based on the latest education, most respondents (81.0%) were able to develop a discharge planning operational standard (SOP). Based on the length of work obtained, the majority of respondents (79.0%) could carry out the development of an operational standard (SOP) discharge planning. With the development of a discharge planning standard operating procedure (SOP), nurses are expected to discharge planning from the beginning of the patient's admission to hospital until they are home and given knowledge of care for at home.
