KARAKTERISTIK ANAK BALITA TERHADAP ISPA DI PUSKESMAS SILIWANGI GARUT

Abstrak

One of the diseases that often attacks the respiratory system in children under five is an acute respiratory infection (ARI)
with symptoms such as coughing, hoarseness, runny nose, fever or fever. ARI is estimated to be the most common cause
of under-five deaths in the world. The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of children under five that
influence the incidence of ARI at the Siliwangi Health Center. This study used a descriptive survey design that was
conducted on a group of toddlers who visited the Siliwangi Health Center. The population in this study were all children
under five aged ≤5 years experiencing ARI who visited the Siliwangi Health Center in Garut Regency during the last
year, namely 126 visits. The sampling technique (sampling) in this study used an incidental sampling technique, namely
96 children under five. Data collection techniques used document review and data collected by other parties in the form
of medical recap books that had been diagnosed by doctors and KMS books for toddlers and for data analysis used
univariate analysis procedures. The conclusions from this research are: Most of the toddlers who experience ARI are
during the pre-school period, the toddlers who experience ARI are mostly boys, almost all of the toddlers who experience
ARI are undernourished, the toddlers who experience ARI were almost all with complete basic immunization status
